Located in Westmont, Illinois with additional offices located in Downers Grove and Westmont, Illinois and Grand Junction, Michigan. C.M. Lavoie and Associates, Inc. is licensed to practice in the following states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Mississippi and Ohio.
We are expanding our practice at our Westmont, Illinois office in both the commercial and residential land development department and the municipal engineering department. The following positions are currently available,
Civil Engineering Project Manager
The Civil Engineering Project Manager will oversee the entire support engineering staff including the technical work associated with the design of streets, sanitary sewers, water main, storm sewers, and detention facilities for various commercial and residential land development projects and municipalities. Demonstrates a complete understanding of all software packages used in the field of civil engineering. Attends public hearings including planning commissions, zoning boards, and board of trustees. Assists the Principal with marketing the firm which includes active participation in professional and community organizations.
Project Engineer
The Project Engineer is assigned to project teams, and prepares reports, opinions and recommendations, and civil engineering design of streets, sanitary sewers, watermain, stormwater management facilities, and hydrologic computer modeling. Is knowledgeable of floodplain and wetland mitigation. Researches literature and develops solutions to complex engineering problems. Coordinates subcontractors and sub consultants on various work including traffic reports and soils testing.
