City of Crest Hill Public Works Facility

C. M. Lavoie and Associates Inc. was selected to be the Prime Consultant for the new City of Crest Hill Public Works Facility. Services included complete Architectural services including MEP and Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management services
The project included a maintenance repair building, main offices, a public works garage building, a Salt Storage enclosure, truck fueling, and material storage. The City Administration was directly involved in the project and CML addressed the appearance of the building to blend with the surrounding areas including the residential properties in close proximity to the facility.
The civil engineering design incorporated the latest practices including a pervious brick pedestrian surface throughout the public parking areas. The project site contained Homeland security requirements and backup generators to service critical operations within the City.
C. M. Lavoie and Associates Inc. provided geotechnical services, permitting, utility designs, grading, stormwater management analysis and design, retaining walls, and landscaping. Permitting for the project included the IEPA, The City of Crest Hill including Police and Fire Departments design requirements.
